The post-production of “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” appears to be making good progress. Images shared on Instagram show James Newton Howard‘s team, the composer of the original films, currently recording the film’s score in London. The photo also reveals that director Francis Lawrence is on-site, working alongside them.
In the short video of the recording session, we can recognize musical similarities to the scores of the earlier films. If you pay close attention, you can even catch a glimpse of a scene from the film featuring Sejanus at the Zoo on a screen:
