A Special Message for the Fans from Francis Lawrence and Nina Jacobson
During an unofficial fan event organized last night by IntoTheArenaPodcast on their YouTube channel, two very special guests sent a message to the attending fans. Both director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson sent videos to express their gratitude for the fans’ enthusiasm.
The event provided an opportunity to discuss “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” among Academy students to celebrate the conclusion of summer and the commencement of classes with a glass of Posca.

Hey everybody, it’s Francis Lawrence, the director of Catching Fire, Mockingjay 1 and 2 and now The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. So sorry that Nina and I couldn’t be there with you. Just wanted to record a quick message to say hello and thank you for continuing on this journey with us. Bringin the world of Panem to life has been an honor and a joy but it’s really the fans like yourselves that makes it all worthwhile. Thank you so much, enjoy the festivities, see you soon.

Hey there! I heard that there was an event tonight. So glad to see you’re not letting your studies in classes get in the way of having a little bit of fun. It’s hard to believe but we’re less than 3 months from finally sharing The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes with you all. I really wish I could’ve been there with you today but, you know that both Francis and I are so so thankful for all of your excitement and your support. The world of the Hunger Games just wouldn’t be what it is or where it is without all of you. Hope you’re having a great night, I look forward to see you all soon.
